Mark Muretisch is a songwriter and performing artist creating his unique sound, from folk ballads and classic rock to blues and acoustic pop. A Southwestern Pennsylvania native, Mark has been very active as a musician and vocalist since childhood. His style is mainly rooted in traditional popular musical forms of the twentieth century. Mark’s songs are intentionally structured with uncomplicated, yet poignant lyrics and catchy melodies that aptly express themes of hope, love, and relationship. His musical influences span decades, with the most significant being the male vocalists, vocal groups, and classic American and British rock bands of the 1960’s and 70’s. As a singer, Mark’s smooth baritone voice is reminiscent of traditional male pop singers of the twentieth century. As a musician, he is skilled in various instruments, from piano and other keyboard instruments to acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin and bass guitar. Mark’s skills and experience are a captivating combination, whether you are just listening or attending a live performance. Mark offers a variety of styles appropriate for any event or social gathering and appropriate for audiences of all ages.
